Wireless and Onsite Support Specialist

Purpose of Position: Provide service solution to customers through different technologies and offer continuous support to keep high network performance. Planning, monitoring, troubleshooting of respective networks/platforms.
This position should cover the following duties (but not limited to): Installation, de-installation, configuration, troubleshooting and customer support for different technologies like: PTMP technology, PTP links, Satellite connections, Wi FI APs, Fiber Optic, ADSL/VDSL/IPTV/GPON, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing, installing, configuring, and maintaining wireless network, network management;

Use tools to evaluate, test and tweak wireless products, such as routers, switches, hubs, bridges, virtual private networks (VPNs), and network amplifiers;

Collaborate with different teams to ensure the optimized performance of VoIP, IPTV and other wireless telecommunication devices;

Collaborate with Help Desk team to evaluate complaints, troubleshoot & resolve issues quickly and efficiently (to minimize onsite support);

Monitor overall network performance to decide if changes need to be made;

Testing and proposals of new equipment, technologies;

Work reports, process and respond in time emails, tickets and other tasks;

Responsible for KPI-s and SLA of respective network/technology;

Plan and request in advance installation materials and respective equipment;

Other duties as per job responsibilities;

Job Requirements

Education: University Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication or similar fields;

Experience: At least 2 years of previous experience in a similar field;

Required Skills: Ability to assess, plan and develop for several operations in wireless network; Ability to understand the client and company's needs, performing installations and upgrades, configuring wireless equipment, conducting assessments and inspections, troubleshooting problems and performing corrective measures and adjustments as necessary; Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and prioritization skills; Network certifications (CCNA, MTCNA etc.); Good communication and professional representation of the company; Standby duty and willingness to travel.
